Starr's Home at Risk After FEMA's Failure was born out of a personal struggle. Like many in our community, I experienced the heart-wrenching aftermath of a devastating storm, compounded by the challenges of inadequate support from FEMA. Months later, I found myself facing the very real risk of losing my home. This experience ignited a passion within me to help others who are navigating similar challenges. Our organization is built on the belief that no one should have to face such hardships alone. With my background in community service and financial counseling, I am committed to creating a safe space for those in need, facilitating connections, and providing the necessary resources to help families recover.
